Christian Festival
Today in evening we were on Christian Festival in Millennium Theater on Brighton Beach.
Cross Park Promenade Walking Tour
At 10 a.m we were in Cross Park Promenade Walking Tour. We have been amazed at what we see…. a hidden bench that tells time, miniature boats powered by the wind, a magnificent sculpture celebrating fresh water, and a glorious drinking fountain for the city’s equine population. These are just some of the the sites along the way on this east to west walk through the Park.

Seneca Village Walking Tour
At 12 p.m. we were in Seneca Village Walking tour in Cental Park. Seneca Village was Manhattan’s first known community of African-American property owners, on land that would become Central Park. Tour covers the history of the village, the property owners, and what New York City was like at the time.

Union Square Walking Tour
Today we strolled through Union Square in Walking Tour. We learned from urban historian Karl Michael Emyrs about Ladies Mile, which included the original Macy’s, Tiffany’s and Lord & Taylor and that Vaudeville first began in the opera houses along 14th Street.

Greenwich Village Walking Tour

Today we took part in walking tour to discover the Greenwich Village. The location where Jimi Hendrix built the Electric Lady sound studios; Where Barbra Streisand debuted at the Bon Soir and where Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney founded the Whitney Museum and Andy Warhol and Lou Reed created the citadel of Hippiedom at the Electric Circus on St Marks Place.

Tosca Opera

Today we went on Tosca Opera in Three Acts (Mucic by Giacomo Puccini) at Central Park’s Naumburg Bandshell.
